Why LTSP? Wouldn't a live distribution of linux be better? Have you tried Qemu, another emulation program. If it is just only a few apps you need to run, WINE would be a better solution.

Essentially each thin client would need to be very powerful, so missing the point of the thin part. Sorry to appear dismissive, perhaps I am missing something?
