Thanks Steed :-) (now it's more clear.) i'm using 22 terminals with a "Intel P4 - 3GHz + 2GB Server". the mem meter shows an almost full memory but never full and it never swaps. basically, it works just fine :-) . so, maybe i'll stay with 2 or 3 GB for a while before i'll move into a new hardware ( and a new kernel).
