as i said here is a part of the clients /tmp/mnt/xorg.log. which i unfortunatly had to copy from the other screen.
(EE) Failed to load /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so (EE) Failed to load module "glx" (loader failed, 7) hm, i tthink i should go for some kind of centralized logging. takes to much time using the client itself to look into the logs. well, i googled around and someone was suggesting to run /sbin/ldconfig. which i assumed should then happen on the client in this case. as this wasnt possible from the client itself (having a readonly nfs) i chrooted to the ltspclient`s root on with the server and successfully ran ldconfig, but that didnt change thing, still same problem. thats the error glxinfo gives me: Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display "igor:0.0". Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual hm, the card itself works, i tried it with a harddisk attached to the client to be sure. i am somewhat out of ideas. mfg jonas beck ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
