No.. I dont get to the X. Even with screen_01 = shell the sintoms are the
same. I cant read exactly in witch part the problem is ocurring beacuse the
text passes too fast.. Hence i wanted to know where could i read the log for
the client....

The only diference from this machine to the others on the network is that
this one is on a new subnet (diferent from the dhcp server) but the machine
can pick up its ip, can start to load linux and crashes in the midle of
things before it loads X or the shell.

Tried with:
        SCREEN_01          = startx
        X_SERVER           = i810
        X_MODE_0           = 1024X768
        X_HORZSYNC         = "50-60"

Same thing happens.

It sounds like the terminal doesn't know it's own hostname.
Tried that too
Also i'v haded the computer name and ip to /etc/hosts

If he's getting X starting with a black screen, he's WAY past any NFS
problems.

This is likely caused by the video card over-driving the monitor.

This calls for some tweaks to the X_HORZSYNC and X_VERTREFRESH in lts.conf.

Also, he should try setting SCREEN_01 = startx
in the [Default] section. It sounds like the terminal doesn't know it's own
hostname.
