They are the creators/sponsors of the LTSP project (look at the bottom of the ltsp.org homepage), so since this is your first setup it might be a good idea to start with their hardware which is customized for LTSP projects. The hardware is solid from all accounts I've heard. The LTSP Term 150 is a good unit for $280. There are cheaper units available, but you likely won't get LTSP support. Since you are just getting started it is probably a good idea to start with known hardware.
