Using Centos 5 and LTSP 4.2 with Neoware 600-series terminals.

After using the keyboard preferences tool to "swap ctrl and caps-lock keys",
the terminal hangs up immediately after clicking "apply" with a black screen.
The terminal has to be rebooted to get it back, and subsequently that user
can't log into his account any more -- he just gets a black screen after
entering his password and the terminal has to be rebooted again.

I set up a temporary user to try this as well, and had the same experience.

It appears that something about the keyboard preferences tool and LTSP on a
terminal don't get along.
