There are lots of ways, but really easy, (I do this for my CentOS systems)

Do an ubuntu install
Take the whole install (/opt/ltsp) and drop it into your server of choice
I made the nbd package and copied the ltsp-tools (script files)
Reconfig and use

Making arch thin clients is easy enough but *lots* of work
