Hi all!

We have 200+ fat clients in our student's labs with Ubuntu 12.04
LTSP and want to perform some load tests by turning on all
the pc's at once, autologin a testuser and firing up on startup
several apps in every client

Our problem is that LDM_USERNAME and LDM_PASSWORD values are
easily available for our students ( ie via tftp'ing lts.conf )
This creates a serious security breach ( as we want our students
to use _only_ their own LDAP account )

So I'd like to use another authentication way: As ldm uses
ssh for auth and connecting with server, perhaps we could
try to use auth_id and auth_id.pub keyfiles in
/home/<testuser/.ssh/

¿Is this possible?.
¿Any alternative hints for keeping hidden -or unneeded- test
username and password?

Thanks in advance
Juan Antonio
