Hello everybody,

yesterday I did a fresh Debian 6.0.7 installation on a testing-system.
That installation works fine, and I'm able to logon via ssh & Gnome.

Right after that I used this HowTo to install LTSP on that machine
(http://wiki.debian.org/LTSP/Howto).
I did these steps:
- apt-get install ltsp-server
- ltsp-build-client
- changed /etc/expoerts to /opt/ltsp *(ro,no_root_squash,async,no_subtree_check)
- checked /etc/default/portmap
- changed /etc/default/tftpd-hpa to boot it as daemon
- changed append-line in /srv/tftp/ltsp/i386/pxelinux.cfg/default to:
append ro initrd=initrd.img quiet root=/dev/nfs ip=dhcp boot=nfs
nfsroot=LTSP_IP:/opt/ltsp/i386

The dhcpd is running on a different system (system-a).
There's also a tftpd & syslinux running.
The LTSP-entry there is:
LABEL ltsp
COM32 pxechn.c32
APPEND tftp://LTSP_IP/ltsp/i386/pxelinux.0

Booting itself works fine, a light-blue screen comes up with LTSP.org in
yellow, and I can type-in a username.
... but which username? I didn't find anything on adding users to the
chroot-installation on the HowTo.
When using usernames from the "fresh Debian installation" I only get a:
Keine Antwort des Servers, Neustart ...
(something like: Server not responding, Restart ...)

I get no information on any logfile ... not within the "fresh Debian
installation", nor the ltsp-logfiles.
Another side-effect: the ltsp-time differs by +2 hours from the "fresh Debian
installation" - both are set to Europe/Berlin in /etc/timezone.

Did I miss something?

Sorry for my english, but I'm not an native english speaker.

Thanks in advance
Torsten
