Hi,
First of all I would consider setting own instance of ntp server on the LTSP server machine.
This instance should serve thin clients.
Each NTP admin and all Internet community using same NTP source will appreciate this approach.
Having that up and running, I will set thin clients to sync with LTSP server.
How to use pool.ntp.org: http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/use.html
How to setup NTP server, usually "man ntp" or man ntp.conf helps.
From the sources above:
"Looking up
pool.ntp.org (or 0.pool.ntp.org, 1.pool.ntp.org, etc) will usually return IP addresses for servers in or close to your country. For most users this will give the best results."This means, you may use the name instead of an IP for good results local to Finland.

You can use generic one. I do usually select same TZ, closest to the server, but that does not matter that much really.
