I'm running debian testing on my LTSP server and have just applied the upgrades. It was working before the upgrades.
I upgraded the server with sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade Then I upgraded the fat client sudo ltsp-chroot -m sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade exit sudo ltsp-update-image sudo ltsp-update-kernels Now when I try to start a fat client I get the following error Negoatiation: ..Error: Read failed: End of file Exiting. Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems: - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline) Check rootdelay= Check root - Missing modules ALERT! /dev/nbd0 does not exist . Dropping to shell! Then I'm just stuck at busybox. Tried the following two commands, but that didn't help sudo ltsp-config nbd-server sudo service nbd-server restart Tried adding nbd to the server sudo modprobe nbd Now I can list /dev/nbd0 on the server, but still not boot the client. -- from Michael ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
