Thanks for the heads up.
I just uploaded the lunit rockspec with "lua >= 5.1, < 5.2" as a dependency.
If anyone submits a rockspec for lunitx, I'll add that to the repo as well.

Any other cases of Lua 5.2 incompatibilty, let us know and we'll fix
the dependencies accordingly.
