When using luarocks via require "luarocks.loader", versioned dependencies
only applies to installed rocks. It would be really useful to be able to
request a suitable version from a standalone script which isn't an
installed module, in a dynamic way, e.g.:
require_version("module >= 1.0.0")
in other words, give a module a version expression just as in a rockspec.
Does something like this exist? Would a patch to provide it be acceptable?
