I got failed installations on a 256MB RAM Compaq Evo N600 laptop with LiveCD, my CD checksum was fine, the prolem was my CD-ROM, it's too old and it runs sloooowly, so I couldn't install other lightweight distros also (and even Windows XP), then I had to install Lubuntu from Ubuntu MinimalCD. Sure you can use the alternate CD. Lubuntu is for old computers, it's great, it's fast, but the big problem is our computers are not good anymore :).

The thing is that I can only attach one file, how do I attach the other. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop Post to : lubuntu-desktop@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-desktop More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
