@Israel && Nio, et al: Yep, I think I've mentioned that same slow boot time in both of my PPC Xenial installs, Lu & MATE . . . as well as slow boot for FF . . . once that gets going things move along fairly well . . . but it's not a zippy boot process to the log in window.
