My ultimate intention for Lubuntu is for it to serve as a place for me to learn development. I have found this is not something that's just handed to you. Just as with everything else (e.g. support) you have to figure it out and ask for help as needed.
I would be happy to work with you and share what I've learned as I go along. We could schedule meetings if that would be better than hanging out on IRC waiting. I say this for two reasons: 1. Maybe it will keep you from leaving but also 2. Because I sincerely want to help. So regardless of whether you stay or go, the offer stands. wxl On Oct 20, 2012 9:47 PM, "Karl Anliot" <[email protected]> wrote: > bah. your results may vary. > I'm sick of waiting in IRC for phillw to have a bad day, have 1 or 2 > gins, and come in to irc and chat with me. > And wrongly or rightly, I expected lubuntu to help me learn a software > packaging, bzr etc. That was clearly a bad expectation, so that is an > added frustration for me.
