Mark on this point I agree with you. It took me joining MTn as staff to learn
that they had HSCSD ( High Speed Circuit Switched Data) and that I could
dialup with my phone and get speeds of up to 28.8 kbps.

Up to now when I mention this to the more technically minded people I know,
they are surprised and wonder why nobody ever mentioned this to them.
