If the vendor accepts Visa (Visa Electron should be covered), then yes, 
there's a chance it will be accepted, especially if the bank you acquired it 
from is 'wired' and well affiliated.

Well, MasterCard and Visa will definitely be accepted by a good host of 
merchants that take credit card payments, regardless of location (as long as 
the card/bank are well-placed). But then again, ymmv.

Diners Club is definitely on the dive, but they seem to be making a come back.
