Hello guys, I know very well that this is a Linux list but I am in sort of a fix and I have no where else to look at this material moment. Situation is: One of the MAC users in the University had problems popping her mail (no other MAC user has the same problem) so she brought her machine to one of the members in my department. The guy did a number of things, rechecked all settings till at one moment he got a brain wave and decided to remove the account, in the hope that recreating it would solve the problem. It didn't. Worse still all the mails that were in the old account(2 years worth of mail) have disappeared. We are at a loss on how to proceed. Any ideas please? The machine is still on and has not been rebooted.
