James I don't know why, but I refuse to believe that hard work will always be appreciated or re-paid. Keep in mind that there is always a limit on what an individual can achieve on their own, without external factors - usually favorable coming into play. A recommendation from one of the great investors of this, and the last century, Mr Warren buffet, speaking to business students at their graduation ceremony goes something like:
get on the right train; that is, moving in the right direction. There's no course in business school called "Getting on the Right Train", but it's really important. You can be an average passenger but if you get on the right train it will carry you a long way.
So James if you feel that you can let your country to rot, thinking that your gigantic efforts will be enough to pull you through, alas you might be in for a surprise.
How come no one has costed the mainframe servers, a few licenses of SCO unix or solaris, powers sources e.g generators, UPS, solar etc that will be used to keep this network/website running. How about the bandwidth and while you are at it throw in a couple of very expensive databases and developers to keep them running. And oh yes, a few licensed copies of Microsoft Windows and office suites plus statisticians and database administrators to make sense of all the information we receive from the districts. Surely by the time we are through with these wont we have used the 56 million US?
