While there could be some relation, it shouldn't have to wait for the Bankom service to come online. If a merchant with card processor is with Bank A and buyer brings card from Bank B, the process of swiping buyer's card and transfering funds from Bank B into Bank A is merely a transfer order. The cost of the transfer will depend on either bank's policy. If merchant and buyer are both from the same bank, it's a no-brainer. Mark.
