Which reminds me, another way to get credit easily is
through an online prepaid credit card issuer. One that
I've used and found very good is:

https://www.epassporte.com/

You get a virtual credit card (ePassporte issue Visa and
Visa Elektron) which acts like a real credit card to buy
anything online. You get a real credit card number, CVV2
number, an online credit card account and an expiry
period.

The other advantage of such a credit card is that it can
be used in any region of the world. One of the problems
of credit cards is they can be blocked from making online
purchases from some countries depending on where they've
been issued from. I have this problem with my South
African credit cards, and ePassporte solves that. In
fact, some sellers on eBay will not accept credit cards
from cardholders living in some African states,
e.g., .ng.

Typically, you use an existing credit card to charge up
the virtual credit card, but there are several other
prepaid virtual credit card companies that support other
forms of charge-up, e.g., cash, cheque, wire transfers,
e.t.c.

Mark.
