fyi - in about 2001, i setup a windoze box for someone: running
mdaemon plus some proxy (was it avirt gateway)? it stayed up for about
300 days - was only brought down by power failure.
  
Can you imagine what would have happened if it clocked 365 days if it wasn't for that miracle reboot that took 1hr to comeup?

i guess what am trying to say here is that depends on how you fiddle
with your windoze server - it can also stay up for as long.
