Not yet configured any but hoping to take the plunge one of these days.
IIRC, the USB modem is addressed as /dev/tty/ACMx where x={0,1,2,3}
Also, I think you need the Texas Instruments Virtual COM Port Driver for
the tusb3410 device that Huawei uses in the CDMA phone.

Once you get the driver sorted out, the PPP connection should be a breeze.
