A note to let you know that now available is a
report of the proceedings of the Regional
Stakeholders Consultative Workshop on Cyber Laws
and e-Justice and Information Security that was
held on 25th 28th April 2006 at the Grand
Imperial Hotel, Kampala. The report includes the
workshop recommendations as well as a synopsis of
the plenary presentations and discussions.
The East African Regional e-Government
Stakeholders Consultative Workshops in Kampala
were jointly organized by the East African
Community, the United Nations Economic Commission
for Africa (UNECA) and the Canadian e-Policy
Resource Centre (Ce-PRC), and with the
collaboration of the National planning Authority (NPA) Uganda.
The report is fairly large in size (600KB, PDF),
so I kindly request those interested in receiving
a copy to send me email at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
indicating their interest and I will email it
directly to them instead of posting it on the mailing list.
