Dont doubt. The meetings we had in 2004/5 gave way to some of the changes
you are seeing today. So do not resign to fate. Lets make it a habit to
participate in these ventures. Infact I applaud Badru for that because the
times that I have been there, he is always there threatening to sit next
to the MC even :).
 Next time you hear some one compalining over these issues first ask them
whether they attend the public fora. If they dont, give them a lecture on
the need to do so in order to make your voice reach a wider audience. I
once made a statement that a journalist captured and was later told that
it ruffled a certain minister the wrong way "but what I said was the
truth anyway".
