Well,it did already install from the CD/DVD. The prob was that after initial 
boot for post configs,it doesn't boot from hard disk.Even after reinstalling 
grub from live cd,it still wouldn't,I changed the bay of the dard disk and it 
worked.Funny.


If i remember correctly, you need to choose the disk to boot from in  
bios.
I once came across a proliant server that couldn't boot when the disk  
was attached to it's onboard SCSI controller but would boot when you  
put in a RAID controller and attached the disk to it.
