I guess the need for ODMR deminishes once you have a public IP on a reliable 
IP connection. even rollernet.us can help you then. (nice: they are your 
primary MX record, filter on spam, and store & forward to one IP, all for a 
minimal fee. We use them as our secondary MX record(s).)

Besides that, when you have some proper bandwith, Cloud based services will be 
much cheaper and reliable than doing it all yourself. (From a managers 
perspective, we know its much more fun to do it ourselves.)

On the US Westcoast there is even a web-hosting company that does not offer 
email anymore. They suggest you use google instead. They feel they can not 
compete with that. That is real extremely outsourcing, i would say.

On a yelloline, though, cloud computing is still far away.
