making a prediction is very hard. Firefox has a *lot* of extentions that 
currently is their big advantage.

Why they have a role to play, i think, is very nicely anwsered in the stephen 
fry movie that simon posted yesterday. It is a proper version of the 
opensource pitch i gave at barcamp last friday and explains free software 
very well.
