I've always known Apple to maintain a very lean chassis. Whether that's a good or bad thing is up to the user. Personally, I don't care because most of it is supported via USB or Bluetooth anyway. They've never been big on LED displays to indicate power, HDD activity, wifi activity, e.t.c. I got used to that to, although I didn't like it in the start. There isn't as much clutter when you consider a laptop in a similar class from someone like Toshiba. Worse if you consider the MacBook Air. Mark.
