BTW, the iphone doesn't run OSX. There are tons of apps available from the apple store for the iphone. Lots of games and novelty applications that I like a lot. The rdp/telenet/vnc apps from mochasoft are suprsingly easy to use and have decent functionality, but the problem is the price is $5.99 for each one! I think that alone is good enough reason for me to try opensource

If you were able to accomplish more from centOS than OSX, then why not? Besides, it is all about applications after all, not the OS. I'm willing to bet though, that there would still be more apps available for OSX than Linux on the iphone even after 10 years of existence, despite Linux's open source model. eb _______________________________________________ LUG mailing list [email protected] http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug %LUG is generously hosted by INFOCOM http://www.infocom.co.ug/ The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including attachments if any).
