'Skils vs Papers'
I must say in the states most prospective employers look at skills before papers. Especially when hiring for a position that requires 5 - 7 years of experience. By that point what college or university you went to becomes a talking point where the interviewer may ask you how your Alma mater's NCAA football or basketball team is doing this year. However certification still carry a lot of weight since they show a level of specialization that the employer is looking for. I have seen college dropouts with tons of certs get jobs before the guy who got a masters in computer engineering. Sanga M.
