WORKSHOP ON THE INTERCONNECTION, RETAIL COSTING AND PRICING PROJECT
The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) in September 2008,
commissioned a study in the area of Interconnection and Retail
Regulation. The objectives of the project included:
1. Development of a suitable interconnection cost model and
regulatory framework.
1. Analyse the need of, and appropriate methods for, regulation of
retail tariffs in the light of developments in the market
1. Development of reporting rules and guidelines for operators
including an Accounting Separation and Financial Regulatory
Reporting framework.
The Commission hereby invites the general public to a half-day workshop
to discuss the findings of the study. The workshop will take place at
Serena Hotel,Katonga Hall, on Thursday,April 9, 2009, starting at 8.30
