Hi, The links:
Kubuntu: http://hosting.mountbatten.net/downloadfiles/ubuntu904/kubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso Ubuntu: http://hosting.mountbatten.net/downloadfiles/ubuntu904/ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso I also fixed a bug in the Ugandan caching server that prevented people from upgrading to jaunty. I actually changed code (exiting!!) The bug is described here for hardy: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/+source/apt-cacher/+bug/156070 and you can find my solution here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/+source/apt-cacher/+bug/156070/comments/21 (i will now probably be blasted for not providing a patchfile, but i am just not good at that, yet) This fix is not released (yet), so you have to manually edit your files, if you run apt-cacher, according to my solution above. In Intrepid, this bug is fixed, if you run apt-cacher on your intrepid, you can upgrade your apt-cacher and it will happily allow you to upgrade to jaunty. So, a very small and insignificant Ugandan contribution to Ubuntu. Thats FOSS for you. rgds, Reinier Battenberg Director Mountbatten Ltd. +256 782 801 749 www.mountbatten.net Be a professional website builder: www.easysites.ug On Monday 27 April 2009 13:33:36 Simon Vass wrote: > Hi Guys, > > Just thought I would send round some of the things we discussed.
