I am looking into partitioning software and am trying to decide between
buying Acronis or attempting some free alternative like Clonezilla or
Partimage. This is for home use, I am planning on exchanging my primary hard
drive on my windows computer to a larger one and then using the old one from
my windows machine as the primary one in my linux computer. I am going to do
a clean install of both OSes but I want to create an image of each OS when I
am done and upload it to my small NAS. The NAS is not a full blown server so
this is not a client/server situation. (although I would eventually like to
have a client/server setup so that i can keep several images).
