i know they do. i went home 2 years ago and was able to use y verizon phone with the GSM chip without any issues. they did not have data capabilities though so it was strictly voice and txt.
As far as At&T goes. as long as i am on a GSM network i will be able to connect with global roaming. i wont be using voice though but will be using data on my iphone.
