Hallo,
I am quite lost with my dialing plan on my VOIP network. I enabled
three digit extension dialing on my voip network...that is when
people within the same office are calling each other..they use three
digit extension, however when calling another office, they use a
five digit extension, that is they prefix the extension they are
dialing with their destination's prefix, which is two digits.
I need to enable the possibility of five digit dialing within the
same office, on top of the three digit dialing. So that a user can
use what they deem suitable. Was thinking of pattern matching but it
isn't making much sense. Any ideas?
It may help to post your current extensions.conf (and sip.conf with
passwords removed).
Do you mean that each office has its asterisk box? Or do you mean that
you want each office to have a 100, 101, xxx on the same asterix box
as extensions and the two digits to jump between them?
