Basically, the offices are all on the same asterisk box. Just as you have said, i have three digit extensions for callers in the same offices, like 100, 103, 10X,etc. However, to call other people in a different office..my callers use five digits, that is they precede the three digit extension with that office's prefix. For example, for John in office A to call Peter in Office B whose extension is 100, John will have to dial Office B's prefix, 12 then Peter's extension, thus 12100.
I want to enable Mark, who sits in the same office as Peter, to be able to reach him on 100 and also 12100 given the fact he is calling from the same office. For now Mark can only reach Peter, (same office) on the three digit extension. All this is on the same asterisk server... For example, in real life, you should be able to reach someone when using the country code + their number even when both callers are in the same country, it doesn't only work when you are calling from a different country.
