Don't get discouraged -- about 3 people came to our first event as well ;)

It's perfectly fine if you'd like to make use of our stuff.

As far as tips/advice go:  advertise your events in advance at local 
universities, host them at local open-source-friendly businesses, keep things 
informal, and hand out free copies of Ubuntu every chance you get.
