Hi Baldwin,

According to Mark Shuttleworth it will take 4 or more years to make
this change, so it will be at least 15.04. Also they will still
include xorg as a client for compatibility. The authors comment that
"nearly every application will have to be rewritten" is therefore
false, as is the statement that they are ditching Gnome. Unity is a
gnome application so they couldn't run Unity if they ditched gnome.
