I am subscribed to UTL and I have installed the UTL modem on Ubuntu 10.4 and 10.10 and Opensuse. It works seamlessly after installing MobilePartner for linux and ofcourse configuring the user account details. I can get you Mobile Partner if you do not already have it. The only issues i faced was that in Ubuntu 10.10, the Mobile Partner seemed not to detect the USB 2.0 (High Speed) ports therefore no hardware detection of the modem.
