Hey guys, I hope you don't mind me also "plugging" in here ... but I thought maybe as another option, or for any other use you desire, I'd drop you a line about the new *East African* site I've been working on - wanaii.com. I created it after getting fed up of having to go all over the place to get my news and information and having to track all the usernames and discussion threads I had open on the respective sites.
Basically, Wanaii is designed for any piece of information - be it a website, personal thought, piece of media, bulleting boards or lists, etc. Users provide content, and there's a process of voting for content so good stuff is given preference over junk. Its totally free to use and will remain so. The beauty of it is that users create their own groups and control/moderate them as they wish. A group can have 3 privacy levels. Unlike most lists, where every message is received, users on wanaii.comcontrol the quality of the lists that prevail, through voting and moderation. You can also subscribe to any group through RSS feeds, so that you only receive headline to new posts in your mail or RSS reader. I have detailed instructions in the help section: (http://wanaii.com/r/help) but please do check it out and let me know what you think. I would really appreciate your honest opinions so I can improve it even more! Thanks! Steve
