> Lead, coordinate and provide guidance to CGIAR Consortium websites and blogs, 
> working with Centre communications directors and web managers to ensuring 
> effective monitoring of consistent messaging, content, relevance and 
> accuracy, and maximising use and web presence, including through social 
> media.  
> Work with ICT and Knowledge Management and related platforms in the CGIAR as 
> required to ensure communications strategy and knowledge management in the 
> CGIAR are aligned and effective. 
> Manage and monitor all budgetary and administrative aspects of the 
> Consortium’s communications, working with Finance and Centre communicators 
> and managing communications supplier relationships and contracting.

> Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills
> Excellent written and oral communications skills in English are absolutely 
> essential, including public speaking.  
> 10+ years’ work experience in the fields of communications and/or marketing 
> at a global level.  Private sector or PR firm experience preferred. 
> Experience communicating on global issues in economic development, climate 
> change, biotechnology, medicine or environmental issues. 
> Experience and expertise designing and implementing communications and 
> outreach
>     strategies at a global level.
> Web site management and Social media experience essential.
> Knowledge of ICT, marketing research and Informatics tools in agriculture 
> development would be considered an asset.
> Master’s degree in Communications or a related field would be considered 
> advantageous
> Fluency in English absolutely essential; Fluency in written and oral French 
> language would be a strong asset.
