Well must be the same way you use the orange modem. Which i am yet to get a 
break through on. If you can use these steps and let me know if anything works.

System menu:
-Preferences
  -Network connections
    -Mobile broadband: Select the add option and follow the steps to add the 
new 
connection.

Note: The default mobile network is MTN but you just need to set a new 
connection name to preferably Warid (In this case).
What I have not figured out is whether you need wine to run the initial modem 
software installation....If anyone can offer a solution, would appreciate it. 
Like I said haven't yet made a break through.
