I tested the promo this weekend.
I got download speeds between 20-120 Kb/s (kilo byte per seconds, not
kilo bit).
Good thing I had a Ubuntu Live CD with me, otherwise I could have never
downloaded the Win Software for my Sony Phone, which is required to
install the modem drivers ;-)
With Ubuntu it started the internet connection automatically after
connecting the USB cable. :-)

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a "good deal" when you pay per
Byte, but it certainly is cheaper than anything we have here in KE!
4 GB costs 2500 KeSHS (~30 USD)
