I am not tricked by my ISP, i monitor my link, it flatlines at what we pay
for. And its actually pretty stable these days. If you are tricked by your
ISP, why not switch to another one?

If SEACOM is down, my ISP switches over to its backup link. Unfortunatly, very
upstream, SEACOM & TEAMS use the same cable. This is not a fault of my ISP
though, and as said, all ISPs face the same issue with that, so that is not
where you can compete (unless you still have full backup on satelite and find
clients that want to pay for those costs. Still, free market choice and
product differentiation)

My ISP, btw, runs a real network, and its really cheaper than much of the
competition. By about 50%. Not bad. Not bad at all.
