Simon,

Based on the new M$FT, I think that it may actually be a win for Linux.

One of the primary things overlooked by anti-M$FT, is the large developer
and channel contribution ecosystem around Windoze and M$ Office. This
business is actually larger than M$FT.

Linux has to up its game, to match M$FT, they have failed to do so for the
consumer. In the mean time M$FT is going big on the server end and may start
eating *NIX lunch there too, checkout the # of M$FT systems in the worlds's
top 500 supercomputers.

I am not starting a flame war here, but it's just my /=

And what a loss for linux, as I guess development will be discontinued and
we will have to rely on third party hacks.
