Alvin,

Better to use only one either IMAP or POP, otherwise u may get burnt .

Thanks Stephen for the prompt response, i have actually activated both pop
and imap, and imap has actually synchronised since i can see the folders i
have created in both platforms, the only thing that is not synchronising is
the sent mail folder, should i disable pop and have only imap working?

Alvin,

You need to use IMAP here not POP which synchronizes mail between different
clients.

Just a word of caution, all emails will be synchronized the first time you
set it up, so it will be bandwidth intensive depending on the number of
emails that u have in ur mailboxes

Subject: [LUG] synchronise mail client with webmail

Hi guys,

has someone figured out how to synchronise mail sent via mail clients
(evolution) with webmail, such that when i send my mails via the client,
they automatically appear in the sent mail folder on webmail.

cant wait to hear from you.
