If your computer is using a CDROM, Place an OS CD into the ROM and restart the computer from the CD. Choose Repair instead of fresh Install and it will be fine with windows. The next step will be repairing the grub so that you can reboot into your Ubuntu again. There are many links on Google that can take you through this but I use this usually. On the other hand, if you dont have a CDROM use a usb drive of more than the size of the Windows 7 DVD, using Window7-USB/DVD tool to transfer the OS and double clicking the setup.exe on that USB will initiate the installer.
