Fuenllana did that as well.
I normally don't use it, because on the vihuela (at least the one I have) I
don't get the sound I want, but I'm sure it can be done.
I did it with some intabulations I made years ago for six course lute, but
as I don't play continuo, I wouldn't be able to tell you more.
